Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

(Establishment : 1st August 2014)

Aim:

• To establish a system that ensures conscious, consistent, and catalytic efforts aimed at improving the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
• To implement measures that strengthen institutional functioning by internalizing a quality-centric culture and institutionalizing best practices for continuous quality enhancement.

Objective of IQAC:

To ensure that the institution fulfills its mission of:
Nurturing students into morally sound pharmacist and responsible human beings by providing learning centered education and inculcating fundamental human values.

Role of IQAC:

IQAC evolves and monitors mechanisms and procedures for ensuring the following:

• Timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
• Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.
• The credibility of evaluation procedures.
• The adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services.
• Research sharing and networking with other institutes of repute and industries.

Functions of IQAC:

IQAC strives to perform the following functions:

• Development and application of quality benchmarks or parameters in various activities of the college.
• Dissemination of information on quality aspects.
• Organization of workshops, seminars etc.
• Recording and monitoring quality measures of the college.
• Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit.
• Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders regarding quality-related institutional processes.
• Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report and such other reports as may be required from time to time.
