Introduction
The Alumni Committee plays a vital role in establishing and nurturing long-term professional relationships between the institute and its past students. This policy outlines the structure, objectives, roles, and responsibilities of the Alumni Committee to ensure effective functioning and meaningful engagement.

To build a strong, connected, and collaborative alumni network that contributes to the academic and professional growth of students and the development of the institution.

To engage alumni in various academic, professional, and social activities, and to encourage their participation in institutional development.
Aim
To establish continuous engagement with alumni and encourage their contribution towards the academic excellence, career development, and social upliftment initiatives of the institution.

- To Organize alumni meet and networking events.
- To Foster mentorship, career guidance, and training for current students.

Committee Structure
The Alumni Committee shall consist of :
- Chairperson – Principal of the College
- Coordinator – Faculty in charge
- Members – Faculty representatives and student representatives
- Alumni Representatives – Selected from previous batches
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinator
- Maintain alumni database and communications.
- Plan and coordinate alumni activities and events.
- Faculty Members
- Strengthen alumni-student involvement and track progress of initiatives.
- Student Representatives
- Support event organization and act as a bridge between alumni and students.
- Alumni Representatives
- Actively participate in initiatives, provide feedback, and support career-oriented programs.
Mechanism of Working Meetings
- Committee meetings shall be conducted at least twice every academic year.
- Special meetings may be held as per the requirement of events or initiatives.
- Minutes of every meeting shall be documented and shared among committee members.
- Action plans shall be monitored and reviewed periodically.
Functions
- Maintain an active alumni database and communication system.
- Organize alumni meets, guest lectures, mentorship drives, and professional networking events.
- Establish collaborations through alumni for training, placement, and industrial visits.
- Promote alumni contributions in social, cultural, and welfare activities.
