Pharmaceutics Laboratory
The Pharmaceutical Laboratory is a well-equipped facility designed to provide students with practical exposure to dosage form design, development, and evaluation. In this lab, students learn hands-on preparation of tablets, capsules, ointments, creams, syrups, emulsions, suspensions, and novel drug delivery systems. The laboratory emphasizes Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and GMP principles, ensuring students gain industry-relevant skills.
Students are trained in pre-formulation studies, in-process quality control, and evaluation techniques such as dissolution testing, hardness, friability, viscosity, and stability studies. The lab also encourages project work in formulation development and research innovation, helping student’s bridge theoretical knowledge with real-time pharmaceutical applications.
