Central Instrumentation Laboratory

 

The Central Instrumentation Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility that supports advanced learning, research, and innovation in pharmaceutical sciences. This laboratory is equipped with sophisticated analytical and research instruments that help students and researchers perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of drugs, excipients, pharmaceutical formulations, and biological samples.

The lab provides hands-on training on modern analytical techniques such as UV–Visible spectrophotometry, HPLC, FTIR, GC, HPTLC dissolution testing, and stability studies. Students gain experience in method development, validation, and troubleshooting of analytical problems under the guidance of trained faculty members.

The Central Instrumentation Laboratory also supports postgraduate projects, research work, and collaborative activities with industries and research institutions. Emphasis is given to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), data integrity, and safety standards to ensure accurate and reliable results.

This laboratory plays a vital role in building research competency and analytical expertise among students, preparing them for careers in pharmaceutical quality control, research, regulatory affairs, and higher education.
