Institution's Innovation Council

Aim:

To cultivate a strong, pervasive culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the institution.

Objectives:

• To create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem.
• To establish Start-up supporting Mechanism.
• To establish function ecosystem for scouting Ideas and Pre-incubation of Ideas.
• To develop better Cognitive Ability for Technology Students.

Mechanism:

• The Institution's Innovation Council is constituted at the beginning of academic year, which consist of the Principal, the staff coordinator & the staff representative.
• The Institution's Innovation Council plane & conduct various innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities prescribed by MIC in time bound fashion.
• The Institution's Innovation Council organizes periodic workshops/ seminars/ interactions with entrepreneurs, professionals and creates a mentor pool for student innovators.
• The Institution's Innovation Council develop network with peers and national entrepreneurship development organizations.

Expected Outcomes

• High student engagement in IIC-driven activities, including competitions, hackathons, and speaker sessions, leading to an entrepreneurial mindset shift across technology students.
• Successful operation of a dedicated pre-incubation mechanism that validates a raw ideas and develops them into detailed prototypes or minimum viable products (MVPs).
• Creation of an active and diverse pool of industry professionals and entrepreneurs who regularly interact with and mentor student innovators.
