Pharmacology Laboratory
The Pharmacology Laboratory offers practical training in understanding drug action, therapeutic effects, adverse reactions, and experimental pharmacology techniques. Students are trained in animal handling (as per CCSEA norms where applicable), dose calculation, and drug administration methods.
Experiments focus on drug screening models, effect of drugs on isolated tissues, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity studies, and simulation-based learning. The lab also includes software-based tools for learning pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. Emphasis is placed on ethical research practices and regulatory guidelines, preparing students for clinical, research, and industrial careers.
