Aim:

 

To serve as a dedicated interface between the institute and the industry, ensuring the holistic professional development of students.

Objectives:

 
  • To promote interaction between academia and industry.
  • To arrange guest lectures, soft skills development programs, and group discussions for the benefit of students.
  • To provide training to students in writing their curriculum vitae and preparing for interviews.
  • To establish connections with industries for the industrial training of students.
  • To act as a mediating agency between students and industries.
  • To identify job vacancies in various industries and provide information about them to students.

Mechanism:

 
  • The Training & Placement Committee is constituted at the beginning of each academic year. It consists of the Principal, the staff coordinator, the staff representative, and student representatives (from B.Pharm. and M.Pharm.).
  • The Training & Placement Committee plans and conducts various activities under its purview.
  • The Committee prepare and forwards the “Horizon”- placement brochure a student database to industries or companies for industrial training and campus recruitment, as per their requirements.
  • The Committee makes efforts to invite companies for campus placements.
  • The Committee informs shortlisted students about interviews. After finalizing the date and time, the company conducts the campus drive either at the college premises or at their own location.

Expected Outcome

 
  • Students will exhibit strong soft skills and be proficient in professional documentation, making them immediately valuable to employers.
  • A diverse range of job profiles and competitive salary packages secured by students, reflecting the quality of the placement efforts.
  • Students securing placements in reputed pharmaceutical, healthcare, and allied industries upon graduation and post graduation.

    • Ensure timely communication of placement-related information to all stakeholders.
  • Monitoring & Reporting
    • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of training and placement activities.
